As a reminder and for those of you unaware, we will be having our annual trek to the winery and parkway on Sat, Apr. 20. Due to the usual size of our group we will have 2 seatings for lunch, noon and 1:00. while one group is eating the other can do the tasting/tour of the winery. Also this is a rain/shine event since I had to guarentee a time slot w/ my credit card. If you know you are planning to attend post here so I can give them a head count for lunch. Afterwards we will head over Bent Mtn. unless someone would like to plan a run in the area for us. Danville group will depart from Riverside Ctr. at 10:00 to caravan up. Last yr we had 18 cars and picked up a new member (Gary Morefield). Lets see if we can break that record.jeff IP: 205.161.153.238 |

Hey, My wife and I just drove up to the Winery this past Friday -- beautiful sunny drive up the Parkway!! We're interested (my wife and I) and trying to talk our friend Candy to come, too. If there are enough coming from the NRV, we can caravan up via the backway (the Floyd/Pilot expressway, Route 615?) from Christiansburg to the Parkway, then south to the Chatteau. Any NRV'ers interested? IP: 128.173.139.167 |

How about at Lowes on 220? From there it would be an easy access to the Parkway. Meet at 9:00 and leave by 9:30, this will allow us time to stop and take pics along the way.IP: 68.10.51.216 |

This is to confirm that my wife, Anne and I will be attending. Also, Candy Willis (new member w/2001) will be attending with a friend. We'd like to eat on the same shift as Candy and her friend, if possible. So that's 4 from NRV. Anyone else want to get together to caravan from B-burg area? What time could we meet you Roanoker's at the Floyd/Route 8 exit on the BR Parkway? IP: 128.173.139.167 |

As of now we have approx. 32 people signed up for lunch. I called the restaurant and they have us down for up to 40. There shouldn't be a problem for those that need to eat in the first seating to do so and those w/ guests to dine together. Even if the weather doesn't cooperate please try to support this outing. The winery usually goes the extra step for us in this and it is hard to plan for this large of a group. FUNDAY2 will be there rain or shine cause the food is always great. Looking forward to meeting our new members. Everyone please wear your name badges if you have them to make it easier for the newbies to get to know you.jeff IP: 205.161.155.138 |

Roanokers are meeting at the Lowe's on 220 @ 9 leaving around 9:30. Probably the easiest way to get to us from Lynchburg would be to follow 460 all the way to 581... then take 581 south.. it turns into 220 just after you pass the exit for tanglewood or 419... you continue on and the first entrance to Lowes on your right is at the first stop light... the second light is at the Taco Bell/Walmart/Outback intersection.Looks I'll be going Solo again... my wife's working and my father is going to the Kit festival. Thanks for all the shots to the cyber photogs. Good work. Also kudos to Jonathan for all the work on the roster and the flier. Twenty two cars, good show. Guess this just proves what extent this group will go to to eat great food...not to mention the wine.I'm hitting the road with the Miata to Arkansas tomorrow, hope to be back by Saturday to at least make an appearance at tech day, if not to get the air horns installed.
