These are Illinois restaurants, cafes, drive-ins and coffee shops have good parking where Idaho hotrods cruise
and Idaho car guys go for coffee, brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner, Illinois car shows and tuner parties!

Then come back to this page and click "POST REPLY" to tell us where to meet up with Illinois car guys.
Also please let us know of a good restaurant in Illinois that is open on Tuesdays to meet car guys for lunch.

Hey Jeff,
One of the best informal Tuesday car / truck / bike meets in in a small western suburbs of Plainfield ,which is about 35 miles due west of Chicago. It is located off of major US highways 55 and not far from Hwy 80. Plainfield is one of those classic Midwest small towns with beautiful refurbished buildings from 1900s and very friendly folk. The city devotes blocks of it's downtown for classic parking and sometimes the numbers can climb to over 100 vehicles. A ton of families bring the kids, and usually every other week is a car or bike theme week. The season usually lasts from April thru Sept. There a number of places to eat and drink, I recommend the Lazy Lizard which is the cenetr of downtown. There is also Portillo's (a Chicagland legend) which is not too far from meet area. Great food and atmosphere. Hope to see you and others there..
