Leveraging a 15-year commitment to research and development, G3 Systems Inc. has evolved a significant core competency in large-scale, multi-phase systems integration. The research and development efforts give rise to specific technology strategies and technical product recommendations that form the foundation of any forward looking systems architecture plan. G3 has provided Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) services to evaluate systems architecture proposals as well as played an integral role in the development of new systems architectures. G3's broad base of information technology knowledge coupled with on-going first hand experiences with technology deployments from their various research and development efforts has given G3 a unique perspective from which to view and evaluate products and for G3 to predict the potential value of new and emerging technologies to a long-term system integration effort.

G3's most comprehensive system integration activity to date is for the US Army out of the Army Training Support Center at Ft. Eustis. G3 currently supports the SAIC lead team on this effort. G3 was originally brought in by Camber Corporation in 1998 to provide IV&V services. Based on G3's performance on that effort, G3 was asked by the Army Training Information Systems Directorate to remain a part of the team working on the Army Training XXI team and continue to contribute to the evolution of not only the Functional Architecture, but also the Technical Architecture. Eventually, the forward-looking innovations typical of a G3 solution captured the imagination of the Army and G3 was asked by SAIC to play an on-going role in the Programming/Technical and Support (PTAS) contract that is migrating existing Army systems into the systems that will host the next generation of Army training delivery.
